3-year funded PhD thesis Ultrafast multiphotonic processes in plasmonic nanoparticles

Mission

The Laboratoire de Photonique Quantique et Moléculaire (CentraleSupélec, ENS Paris-Saclay, CNRS) has been awarded the INSERM "Cancer Plan" and the Labex NanoSaclay with financial support to carry out with four other laboratories a multidisciplinary project dedicated to the study of multiphotonic processes in gold nanoparticles and their application to dynamic phototherapy.

In this framework, we propose a doctoral thesis with 3 years funding on the study of physical processes generated by interaction of ultrashort laser pulses and plasmonic nanoparticles.

Profile of the candidates: specialized in nanophysics, with a solid background in solid state physics and optics. He/she enjoys multidisciplinary scientific challenges.
